Bemnet, a little hero saved in Ethiopia

Only 3 months old when she was first diagnosed with heart disease, Bemnet was one of many children receiving life-saving treatment during the Save a Child’s Heart mission in Ethiopia in 2019. After being discharged from the hospital, one-year-old Bemnet arrived home and was surrounded by her family. On the road to recovery, she is now full of energy.

“For the past year we have been coming to the hospital every few weeks“  Bemnet's Father Said. Now she is happy and grateful that Bemnet has been treated and is back home with her family.

1-year old Bemnet is doing well and ready for a new chapter in her life.
