Each year 5,000 children are born with congenital heart disease in Morocco, and the country's only two existing facilities have insufficient capacity to meet the country's needs. Bambini Cardiopatici Nel Mondo is working to train local medical professionals and to help them establish a new center for cardiology, pediatric cardiac surgery and pediatric vascular surgery, so that more children in Morocco and neighboring countries can get the treatment they need.
